Congratulations on your new puppy and your commitment to feeding him a whole foods, fresh cooked diet!
Puppies develop at different rates, depending on their
breed, and need to be provided with different
amounts of calcium as they grow. WEST COAST CANINE LIFE has a Pre-Mix and calcium supplement specially
formulated for the health needs of your growing puppy.
When making muffins for your puppy, you will use 2 lbs of raw ground
boneless chicken per batch. This will
provide your puppy with approx. 28% protein. Please use chicken in your muffins until your puppy
is six months old before
introducing other meats.
Chicken is
easy to digest, and is often less allergenic than
other meats. After six months try introducing other proteins such as turkey, lamb, beef, game or fish for variety.
